GSIP interns cap off internship program with final presentation
Two interns under the Global Service Internship Program shared their internship projects and takeaways from the experience during the final presentation program that capped off their one-month stay with the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL), 26 July 2026.
Throughout their internship, Alice and Vivi, freshman students of Tamkang University in Taiwan, accomplished tasks under the mentorship of the ANFREL staff. They were also introduced to the valuable work of ANFREL member organizations through online meetings where they got the opportunity to ask questions and interact.

The ANFREL interns also met with youth-led group in Thailand, We Watch where they learned about their election work and engaging the youth in the country.
Alice worked with ANFREL’s Campaigns and Advocacy team where she contributed in their monitoring efforts for the monthly publication Resilience Watch with focus on monitoring the situation in Myanmar. Meanwhile, Vivi worked with ANFREL’s International Election Observation team where she was familiarized with ANFREL’s deployment strategy and data collection.
During the final presentation program, Alice and Vivi reflected on the lessons they learned throughout their stay at ANFREL. They were presented with completion certificates during the culmination program.

In a series of videos, Alice and Vivi shared their internship journey and key takeaways from their experience. ANFREL congratulates them for successfully completing the program and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
