CMEV opens application call for certificate course on election, democracy empowerment
ANFREL member in Sri Lanka, the Centre for Monitoring Election Violence (CMEV) opened calls for applications from interested members of the youth to participate in a certificate course on Electoral Studies and Democracy Empowerment.
CMEV is offering the course free of charge to members of the youth sector aged 18-35 years old with a minimum of two passes the the GCE (A/L) examination and are computer and smartphone literate.
The program will run for six months and will be conducted in Sinhala and Tamil languages with sign language interpretation. CMEV is looking to fill 240 slots. Women and members of marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
