The Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) welcomed two new interns under the Global Service Internship Program of Tamkang University in Taiwan.

GSIP interns Vivi and Alice participated in an internship orientation on Monday, 29 June 2026, where they were introduced to ANFREL’s programs and activities. They will be with ANFREL for a month where through the help of ANFREL program officers from ANFREL’s key pillars, they would take on tasks that would further familiarize them with ANFREL’s work on advancing electoral democracy in Asia.

ANFREL has been hosting student interns under the program as part of its initiative to introduce the young generation to civil society work on democratization and hope to spark interest and participation in the democratic process.
