ANFREL Webinar Series: Importance of inclusiveness in Myanmar Election

The Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) is hosting a webinar on the importance of inclusiveness in elections on 13 July 2020, Monday at 4 p.m. (Yangon Time).*

This is part of a series of webinars which aims to create public awareness on democratic elections in the lead up to the 2020 Myanmar General Election scheduled for 8 November 2020.

ANFREL will hold monthly webinar sessions to provide a platform for civil society organizations to discuss election-related issues and promote democratic elections in Myanmar.

For this month's webinar, ANFREL invited Daw Khin Lay Nge of Phan Tee Eain - PTE, U Nay Lin Soe of Myanmar Independent Living Initiative (MILI), Saw Zin Maung Soe of CAN-Myanmar, and U Nay Win Naing of The Fifth Pillar as panelists. U Zayar Hlaing of the Myanmar Press Council (MPC) will moderate the discussion.

The webinar will be hosted via Zoom. To join, please register here: https://bit.ly/3dZlh72. It will also be streamed live on ANFREL's Facebook Page: https://web.facebook.com/ANFREL.

This program would not have been possible without the generous support from the Canadian Embassy in Yangon and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

*NOTE: This webinar will be in Burmese language but simultaneous English translation will also be available.
