The Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) will release the interim report of its international election observation mission to the 2025 Philippine national and local election on 16 May 2025, 9 a.m. at Manila Diamond Hotel.

ANFREL will present the preliminary findings and recommendations from ANFREL international election observers deployed across the country who covered the campaign period, election preparations, polling and counting procedures, and post-election developments.

The event will also feature a stakeholder exchange with ANFREL member organizations in the Philippines — the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), and the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE) — to share insights and reflections about the elections in the Philippines.

The event will stream live via ANFREL’s social media pages.

ANFREL is an accredited International Election Observer Organization by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). Ten long-term observers and three short-term observers with two electoral analysts and members of the mission management team were deployed across the country for the 2025 Philippine elections mission.
