ANFREL Myanmar website goes live
The Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) Myanmar program is now even more connected as it launched its website which will serve as a platform to better engage election stakeholders in Myanmar.
Access Myanmar-related news and updates via the website (https://myanmar.anfrel.org/mm) which is also available in English (https://myanmar.anfrel.org/en).
One of the key features of the website is the interactive online version of the recently launched "Reporting on Elections: A Toolkit for Journalists in Myanmar" (English version available here: https://myanmar.anfrel.org/en/media-toolkit) which ANFREL hopes to serve as a guide for the Myanmar media as they embark on an important journey towards providing the public the information they need to make informed decisions.
ANFREL previously engaged various electoral stakeholders in Myanmar prior to the 2015 general elections and re-established its presence in the country in December 2018 with many activities prepared in the lead up to the 2020 general elections.
The ANFREL Myanmar program website was made possible with the generous support from the Canadian Embassy in Yangon and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
