ANFREL holds annual strategic planning to identify focus projects for 2017
Entering a new year of 2017, ANFREL held an annual review and strategic planning session for all staff on January 9 to 10, 2017.
The event was held to evaluate successful and failed task/assignments in the program, as well as to identify strategies for better achievement of outcomes. The evaluation was attended by all ANFREL staff and a Board of Director representative. The Secretariat hopes to successfully shape an effective strategy to achieve the objectives in both program and management aspects through the guidance of what was discussed during the meeting.
Aside from the annual plan and strategy, this meeting introduced the, “Quarterly Evaluation Form” which aims to help the staff/division in focusing on individual and working progress and achievement. In the long run, it is expected that ANFREL staff and divisions will perform structured working methods.
Anfrel identified a number of projects which include a number of election monitoring missions, publications and other important activities such as elections and democracy stakeholder discussions which will center on promoting democratic practices.
