
AESF-VI registration opens
The registration for the sixth Asian Electoral Stakeholder Forum (AESF-VI) is now open. AESF-VI will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal on 6-7 December 2023.
The online registration is a prerequisite for all those who wish to participate in AESF-VI. Due to limited slots and funding opportunities to support participant, however, the registration does not guarantee automatic acceptance. The Secretariat will review each registered participants and will confirm participation later on. Registration deadline is on 16 October 2023.
Co-hosted by the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) and the Election Commission, Nepal (ECN), the theme for AESF-VI is “Building Sustainable Democracies: Addressing Electoral Challenges and Opportunities.”
AESF-VI is also being organized in partnership with the General Election Observation Committee (GEOC) and the National-Election Observation-Committee (NEOC).
AESF is a continuing engagement between election management bodies, civil society organisations and other election stakeholders from across Asia and beyond. To date, there have been five iterations of the AESF, held in Bangkok, Thailand (2012), Dili, Timor-Leste (2015), Bali, Indonesia (2016), Colombo, Sri Lanka (2018) and online (2021).
