Chandanie Watawala,  Executive Director,

Chandanie Watawala is a Sri Lankan who works with Asian Network For Free Elections since 2013. She has been involved in international election observation for nearly eight years starting from Thailand election in 2007. She worked with Caritas Sri Lanka as a National Coordinator for Human Rights prior to joining ANFREL. She completed her Master's Degree in Human Rights from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.





Mr. Pongsak Chanon, Logistics Coordinator,  Email:

Pongsak has been working in civil society for 24 years working on various issues such as women, children, and the youth. He was also a researcher on Human Rights issues He has been working with ANFREL since 2002 and has joined in more than 35 elections observation missions across Asia. Pongsak actively promotes democratic elections principles and has initiated a Democracy & Election watchdog group “We Watch Thailand” which engages the youth movement in Thailand..



Mr.Karel Jiaan Antonio  Program Officer for Campaign and Advocacy, Email:

Karel graduated from the University of the Philippines in Manila in 2014 with a degree in Political Science. During his undergraduate years, he worked for the official student publication as a writer covering issues on human rights and culture. His passion for democracy work began when he became an intern for the National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL), the first citizens-led election monitoring organization in the world. After graduating, he worked as a writer and researcher for NAMFREL from 2014 to 2016 and participated in good governance projects of the organization. He is currently working as the Campaign and Advocacy Program Officer at the Asian Network for Free Elections, representing the organization in its engagements in the region, and has. ...




Ms. Sirirak Preedametawong, Finance Officer

Sirirak Preedametawong has been working with ANFREL since 2005. She is working as Financial office who work on the Organization's finances.She has worked on finances Elections in Afghanistan, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar and will work with the external Accountants and Auditors as required. .



Mr.Narong sman, Office - IT/Web Email:

Narong Sman has been working with ANFREL since 2011. He is working as ...position... who is provide technical support to an organization's employees and train non-technical workers on the organization's information systems. Duties of an information technology specialist can include network management, software development. And also provide similar services related to software, hardware, databases, Web resources, networks and enterprise systems.




Ratchadit Rakchat, IT Officer of Asian Electoral Resource Center (AERC) Email:

Ratchadit Rakchat is an IT officer of Asian Elections Research Center (AERC). He earned a master's degree in environmental management from National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand. He had also completed the web development certification from Thammasart University, Thailand. He had volunteered to conduct IT trainings for NGOs, to help setting up an IT network as well as to create and maintain the website for NGOs. He was also one of a volunteer at the establishment of ANFREL and officially joined ANFREL as an IT Officer since 2005. Till the present, he has joined more than 10 ANFREL election observation missions across Asia.




Ms. Kristina Uy Gadaingan, Program Specialist, Email :

Kristina Uy Gadaingan is currently working as Program Specialist at the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL). She was previously ANFREL's program officer handling the organization's Asian Electoral Resource Center (AERC). Prior to joining ANFREL, she was already actively involved in electoral reform work in the Philippines through the Institute for Political and Electoral Reform (IPER). She worked as an educator, lobbyist, and advocate in pursuit of strengthened and broadened democracy. She has performed election-monitoring duties both in the Philippines and in Asia including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Thailand. She has also participated in various conferences on democracy and elections both in the Philippines and in Asia. Ms. Uy-Gadaingan is also a 2014 fellow in the Asian Youth Leaders for Democracy program of the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Science major in Area Studies – Asia from the University of the Philippines Manila
